Work onsite in the following locations:
Carson - Joint Water Pollution Control Plant 9/80 schedule of M-Th (6am-3:30pm) and the working Friday (6am–2:30pm). Regular Days Off are alternating Fridays Compton – Compton Yard 7am-3:30pm M-F Valencia - Valencia Water Reclamation Plant 7am-3:30pm M-F Whittier - San Jose Creek Water Reclamation Plant 7am-3:30pm M-F SOME ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE
Directly contributing to daily operations of state-of-the-art facilityAssembling, installing, maintaining and repairing instrumentation, computer process control systems, high voltage electrical equipment, and distribution systemsOperating, maintaining, calibrating and repairing pneumatic and electronic testing and measuring instrumentsMaintaining records and preparing reports on maintenance and repair work, calibration readings and related dataInstructing lower level classes in the series THIS PUBLIC AGENCY AND ENGINEERING FIRM OFFERS

Valid driver’s licenseCompletion of electrical apprenticeship program, desired4 years’ experience with installation, maintenance and repair work on instrumentation, computer process control, and electrical equipment and systems 3 years’ experience + 12 units of college course work, or completion of one year of a two-year degree or certification program in instrumentation, electronics or electrical technology, or a closely related field2 years’ experience + completion of a two-year degree, or certification program in instrumentation, electronics or electrical technology, or a closely related field Ability to lift over 50 lbs.Ability to pass job-related pre-employment physical, as well as a reference check, background check, DMV report, and a drug and alcohol test.
