A reputable employment law firm in San Diego seeks a litigation secretary with 10+ years of experience.Duties include:Verify court and other deadlines and alert attorneys.Create and update litigation matters in Virtual Binder.Create Tables of Contents (“TOCs”) and Tables of Authorities (“TOAs”).Coordinate and finalize documents for filing with courts or administrative agencies, and service upon other parties.E-file documents with courts and agencies following applicable rules.Timely and properly file in NetDocuments.Create and submit New Client Matters (“NCM”) within firm standards.Coordinate transcription of audio recordings.Coordinate the printing and assembling of documents with office services personnel.Maintain attorney contact lists through Outlook and Client Relationship Management system (i.e., InterAction).Submit daily task log identifying projects and assignments.Review and revise client pre-bills..Qualifications:Minimum 10 years' experience as a litigation secretary.Be highly organized with the ability to support multiple attorneys’ practices and coordinate multiple calendars, tasks, and requests effectively.Demonstrate strong time management expertise with the ability to prioritize and anticipate practice needs.Demonstrate initiative to identify, monitor, and execute tasks related to case timelines.Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.Demonstrate advanced knowledge and proven expertise using Best Authority to produce Tables of Contents (TOC) and Tables of Authorities (TOA).Possess extensive knowledge of court rules and ECF procedures.Demonstrate proficiency using MS Office, Outlook and Adobe.Experience with document management systems (i.e., NetDocuments).
