Description

The Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Basic Skills Interdisciplinary Instructors to teach Adult Basic and Secondary Education in the Student Success Center which includes:

  • GED/HiSET test preparation 
  • GCC Adult High School Diploma
  • Concurrent High School Credit Recovery/Advancement Classes
  • Basic Skills 
  • College Readiness 

  • Examples of Duties

  • Coach basic skills students in reading, mathematics, and writing
  • Create and teach short-term, small group High School Equivalency preparation classes such as essay writing, reading comprehension, basic algebra, geometry, and statisticssciencesocial studies
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Masters in any social science, humanities, mathematics,

    OR

    natural science discipline, 

    OR

    liberal studies, as appropriate for the course.
