Job Title: Pharmaceutical Lab Technician
Type: Contract - 3 to 6 months
Location: Coral Springs, FL
Shifts: 1st Shift: 9am - 6pm or 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Pay Rate: $26 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and shift
Summary:Join our team as a Pharmaceutical Lab Technician in Coral Springs, FL, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. This position offers the opportunity to conduct essential laboratory activities, contributing to pharmaceutical research and development while adhering to strict regulatory standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform fundamental laboratory activities, including the analysis of raw materials and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Operate laboratory equipment, prepare reagents, solvents, and solutions for analytical and formulation activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing conducted and review analytical data using laboratory equipment such as HPLC/UPLC, UV-Vis, GC, IR, etc.
- Provide support for the production of Dry Powder Inhaler and Metered Dose Inhaler drug products.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and contribute to achieving team objectives.
- Cultivate effective relationships with team members and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree preferably in chemistry, pharmacy, or related fields.
- Familiarity with analytical methodology, laboratory practices, and equipment.
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment and familiarity with cGMP regulations.
