Position Summary:
Visual Comfort & Co. is looking for an eager intern to support our growing Digital Imaging team for Summer 2024. Interns typically support their designated department in day-to-day activities, complete assigned projects, and assist in all aspects of the department’s needs. Interns will receive mentoring from their assigned supervisor and must contribute to a community engagement project sponsored by the company. At the end of the internship, interns are required to submit a presentation documenting their acquired knowledge and accomplishments.
Responsibilities:
- Capture studio images of products and assist in set construction.
- Edit post-production images using Photoshop.
- Manage projects, including creating shot calendars and storyboards.
- Occasionally work weekends and overtime, and travel up to 10% for offsite shoots.
- Contribute to company-sponsored community engagement activities.
- Participate in internship meetings and deliver a comprehensive presentation.
- Respond to emails promptly.
- Provide assistance to other departments as required.

Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program (junior year or higher) or completing a graduate degree in photography or similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate Excel.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Canon Cameras.
- Familiarity with Capture One Software is advantageous but not mandatory.
