Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Public Affairs Specialist (Graphic Designer), you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Serving as the agency expert in graphic design standards, publishing production methods, user-centered design, web standards, accessibility issues, prepares web-safe graphic solutions for social network and other digital/web initiatives and other evolving communication mediums.
Producing and overseeing the design, layout, inspection, production, quality, final release and delivery of a wide range of multimedia products and services.
Creating visual materials to include illustrations, diagrams, graphs, objects, models, slides, and charts used in books, publications, magazines, pamphlets, brochures, posters, displays forms, conference materials, web content, exhibits, and other means of communication.
Serving as a consultant and catalyst for improving the way HHS delivers information to its employees and the public via its digital platforms.
