Responsibilities:RAMS Analysis for designated systems and sub-systems, including PHA, SHA, SSHA, O&SHA, ETA, FTA, FMECA, RBD, HAZOP, HAZID etc.Development of RAM and Safety Analysis Documentation of systems and products (Safety plan, V&V plan, RAM plan, Quality plan, Demonstration plan, hazard logs etc.)Gathering of all safety evidences and recording of the safety caseRequirements managementRequirements specificationProvide support for RAMS projects planningCollaboration with engineering teams to ensure safety and reliability implementation into their product designsAnalysis and evaluation of the designs to verify compliance with system technical requirements and standardsQualifications:Over 6 years of experience in RAMS or Safety ideally in RailProficient knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.Seltrac CBTC (preferred)fully automated system experience (preferred).Experienced with RAMS analysis methods (PHA, SHA, O&SHA, ETA, FTA, FMECA, RBD, HAZOP etc.)Experienced with RAM theory (MTBF, MTBFSF, MTTR etc.)Proficient knowledge of railroad signaling systems (CBTC, PTC)Experience in safety certification of critical equipment and systems (SIL3, SIL4)Knowledge of safety standards (CENELEC 50126 50128 50129, MIL-STD, AREMA)Skilled in reading and interpreting electric, electronic, and mechanical drawings and schematicsExcellent technical writing and communication skills.Strong planning and organizational skills.Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Science or Engineering field
