The Sales Executive will develop new business as well as manage and renew a book of business within an assigned territory. They will ensure that the interests of the company and the client are best served through effective relationships with policyholders as well as Underwriting, Claims and other home office staff. They will provide assistance to Risk Underwriting in gathering relevant information on debtors and/or policyholders.In this role you will…Develop prospects through direct cold calling efforts, third party referrals (banks, insurance brokers, etc.), trade associations and other sourcesUtilize consultative sales techniques to manage the entire sales cycle including understanding a prospect’s business needs, obtaining and submitting a complete application, identifying a prospect’s key accounts, and converting the application to a policyManage a book of business including day to day administrative tasks, customer service, and renewing of accounts annuallyWork with internal stakeholders in Commercial, Risk and Customer Experience to provide the best product offerings to a prospective and existing client baseRequired Qualifications3-5 years of business-to-business sales experienceProven track record of success in similar previous rolesWhat Makes You Stand OutBachelor’s Degree in business management, finance or related discipline strongly preferredProven ability to sell a conceptual product that does not have wide market utilizationAbility to convince, motivate and influence internal stakeholdersTenacity and ability to work in high performance sales environmentsUnderstanding of business financials and credit basics
