(ex: phone, in-person, panel, etc.): Video/WebExThe Scrum Masters job is to facilitate Agile team events & progress toward team goals, remove impediments to facilitate flow and coach to high performing teams. The SM is a key role within an Agile delivery team as it removes any impediments that obstruct a team’s pursuit of its sprint goals and ultimately deliver a product that generates business value to customers and associates.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Accountable, along with the Agile team, for achievement of PI ObjectivesTrack progress and help the team achieve their commitments. Progress is monitored daily when problems are identified work with team to develop corrective actions.Manage risk to delivery by raising / resolving impediments in a timely mannerEnsure team members understand SAFe processes and support the team in following them.Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.Work with technical team and product owner balancing the interests of both when issues arise.Remove impediments allowing the team to focus on engineering tasks.Take the lead on resolving conflicts within the team removing any roadblocks to collaboration.Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum, refinement, retrospective and sprint review events.Facilitate retrospective discussions and support continuous improvement efforts.Management of external dependencies the team must deal with as identified.Maintain the appropriate vehicles for open communication within the Agile team to create a trusting and safe team environmentTrack & report team progress leveraging appropriate Agile metricsCross-functional communication, ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes; report progress sand accomplishment up and across as requested/requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Degree - information technology or business or related fieldExceptional people skills.
