The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, while also contributing to the overall financial strategy of our organization. Preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with USGAAP.2. Conducting cost accounting and inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.3. Performing account reconciliations and maintaining balance sheets.4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements and profit and loss statements.5. Participating in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.6. Assisting with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.8. Participating in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.9. Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities.10. Providing support for ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant position will have the following qualifications:1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.3. Demonstrated knowledge of USGAAP, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.4. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.5. Experience with the month-end close process and account reconciliations.6. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.9. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.10. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
