Responsible for the overall Testing engagement, leading global teams of Amdocs, Sub-Contractors and customer and growing the testing business with the customer.
What will your job look like?
- You will manage the overall testing scope and maintain its continuous alignment with strategic business objectives; set program plan, set priorities, ensure optimization, and resolve conflicts to enhance effectiveness towards the business result or strategic intent.
- You will ensure the testing team remains effective and engaged in a matrix by providing ongoing guidance and mentorship, to ensure complete testing program results.
- You will manage all service aspects of the testing P&L based on the account governance guidelines.
- You will build partnerships with the CBE (Customer Business Executive) and SP (Service Partner) teams to maintain holistic, end-to-end services to the customers.
- You will need to understand the customers' strategic needs and the business environment, and to work with the CBE to enable new testing opportunities.
- You will build credibility, value, and relationships while maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders at multiple levels; both internal and external.
- You will ensure that Quality Engineering teams are continuously being upskilled aligned with the latest and greatest technologies and processes.
- Provide visionary leadership in implementing testing tools and methodologies across Telecom Verticals.
- You will be on constant lookout for opportunities and business development and ensure there is consistent growth
All you need is...
- 8+ years of experience leading large software testing teams in a production oriented environment
- 8 years of experience in delivering testing services or project management execution.
- Extensive Experience with customer-facing activities.
- 5 years of experience working in telecommunications industries
- Experience in managing projects in a global setup (multi-countries).
- Experience in operating within a complex, multi-interface environment.
- Conducting regular reviews of Quality Assurance Metrics such as DRE (Defect Removal Efficiency), Test Automation Coverage, Functional Test Coverage, and alerts the QA leader to any critical dependencies, risks or constraints and recommends remediation steps.
- Serve in the role of Agile Coach to the Enterprise and Leadership through championing and mentoring across the organization.
- Monitor, communicate and improve performance through quantitative and qualitative measures of value, outcome, velocity, morale.
- Operating as the Technical SME for a team of Test Automation Engineers and Performance Test Engineers around strategy, implementation, tracking and continuous improvement of the Test Automation capabilities within the team
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery design and implementation with an emphasis on tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, Bamboo or similar.
- Experienced with Unit testing, API automation, test automation in a complex technology environment including Microservices, having used tools such as Junit, Selenium, others.
- Familiarity with AWS architecture or similar cloud providers and cloud certification preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Agile and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence,
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, Unix/Linux
- Extensive Experience in test automation and testing frameworks including Selenium and API
- Proven and consistent professional (you are the bridge builder, you set the example for others in to follow as it relates to communication, managing expectations, and building/growing partnerships).
- Proactive care: you have the experience that only comes with time: the ability to solve potential problems before they become the customer’s problem.
