We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to join our fast-paced Pulmonary Clinics :
The Pulmonary Clinic offers a broad array of diagnostic and management skills in treating adult patients with advanced pulmonary diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer and asthma.
Provide a remarkable patient experience, as you may be one of the first people a patient interacts with at their appointment.
Responsible for important preparation work like taking vitals, noting patients' needs and concerns, and assisting with clinic procedures and exams.
Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education
Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:
Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, medefis portal, onboarding documents).
Experience:
Minimum two years' experience required as Certified Medical Assistant.
Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience including rooming patients.
Epic experience highly preferred.
Prior traveler experience required.
Licensure and Certification:
Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN.
BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or
In lieu of the above requirements, two (2) years of recent Medical Assistant experience and current CMA, RMA or CCMA certification.
Reference
Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
Floating
Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation for 600 Highland Ave, free parking for S Park Street
