Qualis Corporation is seeking a Change and Configuration Manager (CCM) to be responsible for supporting the plan and execution of audits of configuration data and validating the enterprise configuration management items, and database and system accuracy. The CCM is responsible for assessing and analyzing requests for verification and audits. The CCM consults regularly with key Government and project stakeholders to ensure process, procedure and version continuity across multiple locations. The CCM supports configuration verifications, audits and reporting. This position supports the delivery of IT service management (ITSM) activities across multiple site locations in support of a large, DoD program. The CCM performs supports the following:Processes change requests, impact evaluations, and CCB for the ITSM SystemFocuses on the attributes and relationships of the CIs maintained in the CMDB and is responsible for Configuration IdentificationAdministers and supports construction of the CMS, including CI types, naming conventions, attributes, and relationshipsSupports procurement of IT assets when requestedSupports the tagging and tracking of all IT assets and supports the location and identification of their ownersReceives IT assets, when requested, and ensures delivery to correct locationsEnsures developers and configuration system users comply with identification standards for object types, environments, processes, life cycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases, and templatesIdentifies assets within the CMSControls the receipt, identification, storage, and withdrawal of all supported CIs via authorized/approved CRsProvides information on the status of ALL CIsNumbers, records, stores, and distributes CfM DML issuesPerforms configuration audits to ensure physical inventory is consistent with the CMDB/CMS, initiating corrective action through Change ControlUses the CMDB/CMS to help identify other CIs affected by a fault which is affecting a CIAssists Enterprise Engineer in report definitions as requiredSupports CI Owners in CI process and in support of Configuration Control activitiesMaintains configuration identification architecture, including categorization, attributes, relationships, and naming conventionsDevelops and maintains specialist knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and modeling techniques and principles, and a detailed knowledge of IT service, system, infrastructure, and CMS/CMDB architecturesUses logical models of configuration classes, attributes, and relationships, to contribute to the development of the information model for the CMSConsults on technical aspects of CfM (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.)RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fieldManager Level - 4 to 7 years' experience in configuration management requiredAnalyst Level - 0-4 years of experience in IT process/configuration management requiredMust hold an active DoD Secret security clearance 2+ years of JIRA experience preferredBenefitsQualis Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse and talented workforce who can contribute to the mission and vision of the Company.
