Grade 4 Physiotherapist – Clinical Leader General Medicine

In 2023 we are introducing a new, contemporary model for Allied Health in General Medicine to redefine care for our patients and the experience of our highly regarded team across 7 days.
A significant growth in dedicated staffing will support service enhancement and deliver a career structure to develop specialist clinical, research, education and leadership skills for Allied Health working in General Medicine. We are looking for new Allied Health professionals to join our highly experienced and skilled team in delivering this new 7-day Allied Health service.
We need dynamic Senior Clinicians, passionate clinician-researchers, junior staff who want to develop in an inspiring environment and clinicians who want to make a difference in our General Medicine Units every day. There has never been a better time to join us!
The RMH Physiotherapy service is made up of over 110 staff providing services across the City and Royal Park Campuses. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Grade 4 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and friendly General Medicine Physiotherapy Team. This is a full-time position is based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, City Campus.
Your new role:
Provide clinical expertise and leadership within the MDT for general medicine patients with complex care needs Be involved in the mentoring, supervision and education of junior Physiotherapists Represent General Medicine team at senior leadership meetings Inspire priorities for innovation and improved service delivery, and grow our research capability Develop and maximise use of clinical governance and infrastructure. Lead Quality Improvement planning and implement initiatives About you:
You have extensive experience as a clinical physiotherapist to effectively assess and treat a variety of patients in the general medical care setting. You demonstrate strong leadership, research, service development skills and a passion for general medicine. You are an influential leader with a track record of driving change within a complex healthcare environment and fostering the growth and development of the wider team.
