As a Health Informatics Program Lead, you will . . .
Develop and maintain Covered California’s overall health informatics strategy to enhance health plan accountability. Research and perform complex data analysis projects based on quality and equity data to construct innovative methods for collecting data as well as incorporating additional data sources to better reflect care delivered to our enrollees and highlight disparities in health care delivery. Produce actionable analysis that is used to advise Equity & Quality Transformation and executive leadership in proposed and existing programs with a major impact on health plan requirements, selective contracting for quality, as well as payments to the Quality Transformation Initiative. Use numerous data tools and technologies such as SAS, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau to construct and maintain a framework to automate integral data calculations and design models of health plan performance.

This position can be located at any of the following locations: Sacramento, Los Angeles, Oakland, and San Francisco. Will consider candidates from all parts of California.

Working Conditions
This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Covered California’s current telework policy. While Covered California supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department. Employees are no longer required to submit Covered California’s Self-Screening Questionnaire prior to coming onsite. Additionally, the State of California COVID-19 Testing Program requirements, along with COVID-19 vaccination verification are no longer needed. Covered California’s COVID-19 Prevention Plan has been updated to incorporate the revised CDPH Public Health Officer Orders.
