CBTS is currently seeking a Telecom Financial Analyst for a position located in Dayton, OH.
The Telecom Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for reporting, analyzing and monitoring budget/forecast variances under two accounting platforms, and will develop collective high-level reporting on Telecom specific CapEx and OpEx trends.
Responsibilities:
- Support month end and forecast process
- Prepare monthly budget variance report
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance to accurately prepare reporting and projections based on analysis
- Identify irregularities in Telecom billing with a wide variety of vendors and services
Experience:
- Telecom Industry Knowledge – understanding of the telecom industry, including key players, market trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Ability to perform detailed cost analysis, including Operational costs, Capital Expenditures, and cost saving strategies within the telecom industry.
- Understanding of Telecom billing systems, revenue recognition process, and billing cycles
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify needs, and provide insights for decision-making and strategic direction
- Experience in managing financial projects within the telecom sector, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Billing, Accounting, and Budgeted knowledge and history experience.
- Data and Analytics experience.
- Microsoft Office suite, with strong knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
